Once more, the earth has ringed
the sun
And brought to us a new July,
Before whose course is yet
half-run,
We’ll have excuse to versify.
A birthday we will celebrate
In honor of our Sara fair;
The thirteenth is the very date
On which we’ll say a birthday prayer:
May God watch over our dear Sara;
May life get better every day;
May she sun on the Riviera
When she’s not freezing in PA! |
