I believe that The Episcopal Church has a lot to offer, but communicating this to others, particularly the unchurched, is difficult. I really don’t know how best to get more people into our churches, but my experience of pledging a fraternity in college suggests a strategy. Alpha Delta Phi used quirky ads that made it stand out from the pack and encouraged curiosity. Perhaps Episcopalians could use a similar strategy.

This thought led me to produce candidate advertisements for The Episcopal Church. My Facebook friends helped me perfect and cull my ideas. I don’t know that my 16 ads are really quirky enough, but I offer them for use or inspiration. All my ads can be found in my latest post “Tooting The Episcopal Church’s Horn.” Let me know what you think.

Best regards,
Lionel
