Date: July 18th 2008

It is time for Progressive Episcopalians of Pittsburgh to send out its annual membership-renewal letter, and the occasion gave me reason to look at past letters. My latest blog post, “The more things change …” reprints the letter we sent members in August 2005. So little seems to have changed since then! Reactionary forces within Anglicanism continue to advance their program, and PEP continues to oppose it. You can read both my brief commentary and the actual 2005 letter at http://deimel.org/commentary/blogger/2008/07/more-things-change.htm.

Best regards,
Lionel
